eCard Help Page
Below are several resources to assist with issuing eCards. There are 2 primary ways to issue eCards.
- If you wish to issue ecards directly to your students, use the eCard Order Form to purchase your eCards. Once the purchase is complete, we will load your eCards into your AHA Atlas Account where you can then issue directly to your students. The Video and eCard quick guides below describe how to do this.
2. If you wish ERTSS to issue eCards to your students for you, we will start
offering this service starting June 1st, 2018. You will use the ERTSS Online Roster
to send us the course info and student name(s), email address(s) Mobile Number(s) and pay for your
eCards. We will then issue them directly to your students for you. There will
be an additional fee for this service. ( .25 cents per eCard ).
*For Heartsaver Courses, please let us know if you taught Child & Infant CPR in the “Comment” section so we can issue the correct CPR options.

There are 3 ways for the student to claim their eCard:
- Claim via email
- Claim Online: www.heart.org/cpr/mycards
- Claim by SMS Text : Text “eCard” to the number 51736 ( The students mobile Number must be included when the eCard is issued to the student! )
IMPORTANT: If your student does not have an email address, follow these steps.
- Complete the eCard process as usual, but use noemail@ertss.com as the student email address.
- Once you have issued the eCard, have the student claim their eCard online at:
www.heart.org/cpr/mycards The student must enter their first and last name and noemail@ertss.com as the email. They can then complete the student profile, survey and then claim/print their eCard. Since they completed their profile, they could then make changes/edit their email address for future classes.
Firewall Restricts / Blocks Email
If a firewall restricts or blocks the email from AHA to claim their eCard, the student can claim their eCard online at www.heart.org/cpr/mycards The student must enter their first and last name and email address. Click on the search button. Once the eCard has been located, they can then complete the student profile, survey and then claim/print their eCard. Since they completed their profile, they could then make changes/edit their email address for future classes.
