AHA Instructors now have an Instructor Quality Score.
If eCards have been issued in your name as the Instructor and the students have completed the survey when claiming their ecard, the a Quality Score can be calculated. Here is how it works:
When your student claims their eCard, they have the opportunity to complete a post course survey. If the student chooses to do the survey, then the responses are tabulated to generate an Instructor Quality Score. If the student chooses to skip the survey, then this has no impact on your quality score.
If no eCards have been issued under you name as the Instructor, then you will not have an Instructor Quality Score. You will see a “0” because no information is available to tabulate a score. If you are an assisting Instructor for a class, this has no impact on your quality score, only the lead Instructor whose name is listed on the eCard.
Your Instructor Quality Score changes as more post course surveys are completed with new courses and new data is available to calculate. Your Instructor Quality Score is date range driven so you can look at all your courses, or for a specific starting / ending date range.
The Benchmark for Instructor Quality Score is 85
You can view your Instructor Quality Score by signing into your AHA Instructor Network Account.
